【OBS-compatible】Meter Widget

The Meter widget shows progress toward a goal as a bar or ring through an OBS browser source. It supports horizontal, vertical, and ring shapes, segment or continuous fills, and color changes at thresholds, and you can update the current value from the controller.

Meter Widget for OBS

The Meter widget is an OBS widget that shows progress toward a goal as a bar or ring on your stream. Use it for subscriber goals, donation and Super Chat targets, event goal gauges, or project progress — anything where viewers should see how far along you are.

Create the meter in Jamluca, copy the published URL, and paste it into an OBS browser source to display it on stream. You can update the current value from the controller during the broadcast, making it useful when you want progress to change in real time.

Show Goal Progress as a Bar or Ring

Showing a meter on screen makes it clear at a glance how far you have come toward a goal. The bar or ring fills based on the ratio between the current value and the maximum (full) value, and the progress percentage can be shown alongside it.

As you get closer to the goal, the meter fills up, so viewers can visually follow the momentum of the stream. It works well for donation and support drives, subscriber challenges, and goal gauges during long streams.

Choose Horizontal, Vertical, or Ring Shapes

The meter shape can be a horizontal bar, a vertical bar, or a ring. Pick the one that fits the empty space in your layout — a wide gauge, a tall meter, or a compact ring.

There are two fill styles: a stepped "segment" fill that divides the meter into ticks, and a smooth "continuous" fill. Use segments for a staged look, or continuous for a smooth gauge.

Switch Colors with Thresholds

You can set thresholds on the meter so the color changes once progress passes a certain line. For example, switch from blue to green after 80% of the goal, or change to an accent color as you near the finish.

As the color changes when you get close to completion, the distance to the goal becomes intuitive. It is great for building up to the climax of a stream.

Control the Current Value from the Controller

You can increase, decrease, and reset the meter value during the stream. Add to it when a donation comes in, reset it when a goal is reached, or update the value as the segment progresses.

Open the controller URL on a phone or another PC to operate the meter even when you are away from the device running OBS. The streamer can update it from a phone, or a teammate can change the value from another device as the stream progresses.

Adjust the Design for Readability

You can adjust the color, template, background, border, corner radius, and shadow in the editor. Match it to your stream colors and place it while balancing it with gameplay, camera footage, and other on-screen elements.

A rich set of templates is also available, so you can start from styles like simple, cute, cool, or elegant and quickly build a meter that fits your stream.

Use It in OBS with a Browser Source

Each meter is published as a dedicated URL. Add an OBS browser source and set that URL to display the meter on your stream. You can adjust the size and position in OBS to fit your layout and balance it with other visual elements.
