【OBS-compatible】Dice Widget
Dice Widget for OBS
The Dice widget is an OBS widget that displays a 3D die on your stream and rolls it to produce a random result. Because viewers can see the die move before the result appears, draws and choices become easier to follow on screen.
Create the dice widget in Jamluca, copy the published URL, and paste it into an OBS browser source to display it on stream. You can roll the die from the controller, making it easy to use in step with the stream.
Choose from 4 to 20 Faces
You can choose 4-sided, 6-sided, 8-sided, 12-sided, or 20-sided dice. In addition to a standard 6-sided die, you can match the number of faces to the number of choices you want to use.
Because the result is shown as a clear number, it is easy to share immediately. It works well for simple draws, deciding order, choosing an action, and other moments where a short result is enough.
Show Text on Faces with Tables
The Dice widget can connect with Jamluca tables and show text on the dice faces. Instead of regular numbers, you can use candidates registered in a table, so the options themselves appear on the die.
Switch the display mode to custom text in the widget editor and select the table you want to use. The table content is reflected on the die, and when you need to update the candidates later, you can manage them from the table.

Candidates registered in a table can appear on the dice faces and be rolled from the controller.
Roll from the Controller
Open the controller URL on a phone or another PC to roll the die even when you are away from the device running OBS. The streamer can roll it from a phone, or a teammate can operate it from another device as the stream progresses.
Because you can control the timing without touching the OBS canvas, it is easy to use while showing gameplay, camera footage, or other stream content.
Adjust the Design for Readability
You can adjust the dice color and text color in the editor. Match it to your stream colors and tune the contrast so the result stays easy to read on screen.
Readability matters because viewers need to understand the result quickly. If the widget is small or layered over a busy scene, give the die and text enough contrast to keep the result visible.
Use It in OBS with a Browser Source
Each dice widget is published as a dedicated URL. Add an OBS browser source and set that URL to display it on your stream. You can adjust the size and position in OBS to fit your layout and balance it with other visual elements.
