【OBS-compatible】Effect Widget
Effect Widget for OBS
The Effect widget is an OBS widget that overlays visual effects such as speed lines, confetti, fire, sakura petals, and rain on your stream. It helps make reveals, transitions, reactions, and atmosphere changes clear on screen.
Create the effect widget in Jamluca, copy the published URL, and paste it into an OBS browser source to display it on stream. You can show or trigger effects from the controller, making it easy to time them with the stream.
Add Multiple Effects to One Widget
You can add multiple effects to a single Effect widget. Keeping speed lines, confetti, fire, sakura, and rain in one widget makes it easier to switch between the effect that fits each moment.
Each effect can have its own label, so it is easy to identify from the controller. You can show or trigger only the effects you need during the stream.
Choose the Effect Type
Speed Lines are useful when you want to pull attention toward a moment on screen. You can adjust the line count, thickness, center position, and speed.
Confetti fires when you press the button. It works well for achievements, announcements, celebrations, and other moments that need a brief burst of color.
Fire appears from the bottom of the screen. You can adjust the height and speed to match strong reactions or tense scenes.
Sakura shows drifting petals. You can adjust petal count, size, wind strength, and direction for a softer atmosphere.
Rain covers the screen with falling rain. You can adjust the amount, drop size, and wind direction. It works well for reflective monologues, flashback scenes, and chill streams.
Control Effects from the Controller
Open the controller URL on a phone or another PC to operate effects even when you are away from the device running OBS. The streamer can switch effects from a phone, or a teammate can trigger them from another device at the right moment.
Speed lines, fire, sakura, and rain can be toggled on and off. Confetti fires each time you press the button, so it can appear only when needed.
Overlay Effects with Transparency
Effects are displayed as an OBS browser source. The background is transparent, so you can layer them over gameplay, camera footage, and your stream layout.
Because many effects cover the full canvas, place the browser source at the size of your stream canvas in OBS. For the step-by-step setup flow, see How to Use Jamluca.
