What is Jamluca? OBS Widget Builder for Streams

Jamluca is a browser-based service for creating and managing OBS widgets for streams. Build clocks, timers, counters, roulettes, captions, and other overlays, then add them to OBS with a browser source URL.

OBS Stream Widgets You Can Create with Jamluca

Jamluca is a browser-based service for creating and managing OBS widgets for your stream layout. You can add clocks, timers, counters, roulettes, captions, effects, and other visual elements, then adjust them to match the tone and structure of your broadcast.

Each widget is published as a dedicated URL. Add that URL to OBS as a browser source, and the widget appears on your stream without exporting image or video assets.

Manage Stream Layout Parts in One Place

Jamluca is built around managing the parts that sit on top of your stream as widgets. You can create separate widgets for showing time, counting values, running random choices, displaying announcements, and more.

Widgets are organized by channel, so you can keep assets separate for talk streams, game streams, planned events, and other stream formats.

Customize Designs with Templates and the Editor

For widgets with templates, you can start from a design close to your stream style, then edit it. Adjust colors, sizes, fonts, and displayed content so the widget fits your stream colors and layout.

The full creation flow and editor screens are covered in How to Use Jamluca.

Display Widgets in OBS with Browser Sources

Jamluca widgets are displayed in OBS by setting their URL as a browser source. After the source is added once, you can update captions, options, and other content from Jamluca.

For the step-by-step OBS setup, see How to Use Jamluca: Create OBS Stream Widgets.

Control Widgets from a Phone or Another Device

For widgets that need live controls, you can open the controller URL on your phone or another PC to switch content or trigger effects during a stream. You do not have to stay in front of the OBS machine, so you can make updates from a phone in your hand as the stream progresses.

You can also place the controller in an OBS custom browser dock if you want to control it from inside OBS. Whether the streamer controls it directly or a teammate handles it from another device, the same widget can be operated in step with the stream.

Update Stream Data During Live Broadcasts

Jamluca also includes tables for managing data used during streams. You can organize roulette options, dice choices, participant lists, and other information that changes from one stream to another.

By connecting tables with widgets, you can update the data instead of rebuilding the widget every time. This is useful for recurring shows, long-running projects, and viewer participation segments.

Prepare Stream Assets with Your Team

Invite members to a channel to manage widgets and tables together. For example, the streamer can handle OBS while a teammate updates captions or table entries.

Because everything is managed in the cloud, members can work from another PC as long as they can access the same channel. This keeps preparation flexible across home, studio, and remote work.
